Question: why did you only set up the ground sheet and Rainfly like it was the tent? That's just a quick raincover, not a tent. The Tent is full screened like you set up later, which comes with the full tent (of course) the COLD WEATHER wind cover is separate over the inner vented screen tent. I use and love the tent and you confused me. Otherwise it was a good easy video. Not so much for newbies to it.

Awesome labor intensive safe restore of a 1960s-1970s Birmingham Stove and Range pan. After that restore and back to the stove user - CLEAN the pan after each and every use! That carbon buildup on the outside of the pan just shouldn't be there if the pan is wiped clean in and out after each use. By doing that you'll have a like new pan with an amazing non-stick finish for virtually forever and the next user of the pan will be most grateful for the care and thoughtfulness applied to each and every meal ever cooked in that pan and the memories of meals gone by. A family heirloom like none other you have there to pass on and on... Great job... Tip: heat greased pan prior to adding cornbread mix. The bread will literally flip out of the pan when done....

Your friend needs to go to the light fighter to get the 4 season conversion piece. If you buy directly from litefighter it will cost over $500 but it includes the four season and the sand/snow anchoring pads.

The complaints for the flap d ring can be solved the way rangers did. They used to tie paracord onto the end with a basic knot and pull it down, then up to draw. I do this and works great. Its an original m12 and applies to all the models. The Um92 would be the best model holster for striker fire handguns as it has a polymer trigger guard. Bit more pricey even in today’s prices

I got one for $40, and it looked brand new in 2014. I carried it daily from 2014 to 2017 when I retired from the Army. I made a custom sheath for Scout carry. I took the spine coating off for ferro rod use. I still carry going into the woods and camping. I was also active with scouting with my son and carried it. Excellent knife and wouldn't think twice about bringing overseas if the need be. Nice video.

College is a good thing. A family member paused college and joined the service enlisted but got out as an officer. College opens so many doors whether a military career or anything else you wanna do.

I have just recently found your channel. I have really enjoyed watching Gabriel grow up into the strapping young man he is today. He reminds me of my son growing up who had the same outdoor training and moral upbringing. He is now a WO2 (CW2) in the Army. The pan looks good! I noticed a lot of holes in the pan I guess it’s from the rust eating it . But my pan rusty too! Someone gave me a ton of random pans to fix up too but I have too many cast iron cookware now!

Super video! Some might be forewarned though that extended soaking cast iron in vinegar tends to “pit” the iron. Using lye to dissolve the baked on crud, then vinegar to remove the rust works without the worry of damaging the cooking surface.

I'm a Computer Science major and Math minor but Engineering majors have more Math and way more Physics. Will you do a video on field shirts such as the MCCUU and BDU or a video comparing them? The video on the ECWCS parka was good and it was helpful to hear that the Gen 1 was preferred to the Gen 2.

this really should have a longer barrel, i know they made a 6 inch model in 45 colt this really should have at least 6 or 7 inch in a rifle caliber like this

Thanks for the video, especially the guy line tensioner piece. Not so much the bowline; As a right handed person, it is much much easier for me to go through loop from left to right and create a "b" instead of a "d" as that allows my left hand to hold the rope steady while dominant hand completes the through hole, wrap, back up through hole and tightening down.

anyone make a mag pouch for one of the most common and popular mags out there? the HK G3 7,62x51? I mean, almost everyone has a CETME or PTR 91, but I cant find any mag pouches for those surplus mags..... 😕
